Recycled Water Supplements a City of
El Paso Drinking Water Aquifer
For over twenty years, the City of El Paso, Texas, has been using
recycled water to recharge an underground aquifer that is used
as a City drinking water supply.

customer that uses recycled water inside the building in the eight
employee and visitor restrooms.
Recycled Water Annual Symposium
The
WateReuse Association’s Annual Symposium
will be held September 10-13, 2006, in Hollywood, California.
Topics discussed will include membrane technology to remove contaminants,
irrigation techniques and groundwater desalination.
Reclamation Plant Tours Continue in Popularity
Current
and potential recycled water customers continue to sign up for
tours of the North City Water Reclamation Plant and get a “behind the scenes” look
at the water recycling process.
